2.1: How do I buy Galaxy Games?
We are afraid that Galaxy Games has passed it's end of life and is no longer being sold. We recommend that interested parties use eBay or other online sellers.
2.2: How do I buy cartridges (STARPAKs)?
While the cartidges are no longer being made, we may still have 3 & 4 in stock. Please Contact Us for further information.
2.3: My trackball is not working, or is erratic.
Try cleaning the opto sensors. They may become blocked by dust or smoke over time.
3.1: How do I buy a Classic game?
We are afraid that the Classic Collection has passed it's end of life and is no longer being sold. We recommend that interested parties use eBay or other online sellers.
3.2: My remote doesn't work.
You may need to configure the remote. This will depend on which model of remote you have. Due to a part obsolence, there were two different remote systems used. They are not compatible. (Please see the next couple of questions.)
3.3: How do I Identify my remote and reciever?
Stanely recievers are biege. Liftmaster recievers are silver. Liftmaster remotes are black with two buttons.
3.4: How do I configure a Stanely system?
Stanely systems use a matched set of dip switches. Set the dip switchs on both the remote and the reciever to the same setting.
3.5: How do I configure a Liftmaster system?
Liftmaster systems use a software setup procedure. Lift cover off of receiver. Press button under the cover until a green LED stays lit. Release button (LED will stay lit) Press button on REMOTE, LED will start blinking. Procedure is complete.
3.6: I have a mismatched remote and reciever.
Only the liftmaster model is currently available. Whichever component is Stanely will have to be replaced. Please contact Chamberlin Liftmaster for more information. The models used in our games were: Transmitter - 82LM, Receiver - 412LM
4.1: People are hitting the jackpot too often.
Set ADJ 02, Jackpot Window, to a larger number. This is the number of times a non-jackpot will be forced after each jackpot.
4.2: How do I change the game settings?
The manual is available online (MS Word format).
4.3: The arm has started flopping around and coming back very slowly.
In our experience, this is resolved by replacing the springs on the arm.
4.4: Can I buy arm springs from CES?
No, CES bought the arm as a complete assembly and does not have separate springs. You can find compatible springs at most hardware stores. At Menards, the appropriate spring is #104.
4.5: Can I buy other spare parts from CES?
In many cases, yes. Parts of the arm are only sold as a whole assembly. Cabinet decals in particular are not available.
